Red beach is located 12 km south west of Fira and is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of Santorini. It has black and red volcanic pebbles and warm waters.
The beach resort of Kamari, 10 km south-east of Fira, is situated on the southern part of Santorini, right next to Perissa, with the enormous rock called Mesa Vouno between them. Sandy, family friendly, partly organized, with diving club and water sports.
Perissa is a tourist resort 10 Km south east of Fira. It is an impressive and organized beach, with black sand on its shore. You can enjoy diving club and water sports.
Agios Georgios is a popular beach, just 3 km from Perissa and 12 Km south east of Fira. With black pebbles, well organized, Agios Georgios is one of the most tourism-friendly beaches on Santorini.
Cape Columbo is one of the most isolated and quiet beaches, 12 Km north-east of Fira. Surrounded by a wild landscape, Cape Columbo often gets windy.
Monolithos is a family-oriented beach, located 7 Km far from Fira. The beautiful coast has a playground and a beach volley court, suited for sport activities.
Perivolos, the longest black sanded beach in Santorini, is located 10 Km south of Fira. This is an organized tourist resort with many hotels, taverns and beach bars.
Vlychada is a nice, organized beach on the southern side and 10 Km distance from Fira. It has a port where fishing boats and yachts moor in summer.
Vourvoulos, 4 Km north-east of Fira, is a beautiful beach,but with strong winds that can produce really huge waves.
The cove right next to the Red beach is known as the White beach. Located in a distance of 13 Km south-west of Fira, it is very similar to the Red beach, with black pebbles on the shore, only that the surrounding cliffs are white.

Cultural Archaeological Museum of Santorini in Fira contains artifacts from excavations on the island.

It resides in an old Captain's Mansion in Oia. The building has been restored and converted into a museum that houses the Maritime History of Thira.
The Folklore Museum is within a cave house built in 1861 in Kontochori, a suburb of Fira capital.
Founded in 2006 and located in Perissa, close to the Church of the Holy Cross. Display cases include minerals and fossils from Thira, the rest of Greece and abroad.
The Wine Museum is an extraordinary natural cave, 6 meters below ground and 300 meters long. It presents the history and life of wine from 1660 to 1970.
The Argyros Mansion is one of the most distinguished recent monuments of the island and occupies an important place within the Messaria community, as it is significant for its morphological and its architectural value.
