Red Beach
Red beach is located 12 km south west of Fira and is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of Santorini. It has black and red volcanic pebbles and warm waters.

Kamari
The beach resort of Kamari, 10 km south-east of Fira, is situated on the southern part of Santorini, right next to Perissa, with the enormous rock called Mesa Vouno between them. Sandy, family friendly, partly organized, with diving club and water sports.

Perissa 
Perissa is a tourist resort 10 Km south east of Fira. It is an impressive and organized beach, with black sand on its shore. You can enjoy diving club and water sports.

Agios Georgios
Agios Georgios is a popular beach, just 3 km from Perissa and 12 Km south east of Fira. With black pebbles, well organized, Agios Georgios is one of the most tourism-friendly beaches on Santorini.

Cape Columbo
Cape Columbo is one of the most isolated and quiet beaches, 12 Km north-east of Fira. Surrounded by a wild landscape, Cape Columbo often gets windy. 

Monolithos
Monolithos is a family-oriented beach, located 7 Km far from Fira. The beautiful coast has a playground and a beach volley court, suited for sport activities.

Perivolos 
Perivolos, the longest black sanded beach in Santorini, is located 10 Km south of Fira. This is an organized tourist resort with many hotels, taverns and beach bars.

Vlychada
Vlychada is a nice, organized beach on the southern side and 10 Km distance from Fira. It has a port where fishing boats and yachts moor in summer.

Vourvoulos
Vourvoulos, 4 Km north-east of Fira, is a beautiful beach,but with strong winds that can produce  really huge waves.

White Beach
The cove right next to the Red beach is known as the White beach. Located in a distance of 13 Km south-west of Fira, it is very similar to the Red beach, with black pebbles on the shore, only that the surrounding cliffs are white.

Museums

Santorini has a wealth of history and tradition.
There are plenty of museums to visit with rare exhibits.

Archeological museum in Fira
Cultural Archaeological Museum of Santorini in Fira contains artifacts from excavations on the island.

Museum of Prehistoric in Fira
It houses finds from the excavations of Akrotiri, the earlier excavation at Potamos and a various other sites on the island.

Naval Maritime Museum in Oia
It resides in an old Captain's Mansion in Oia. The building has been restored and converted into a museum that houses the Maritime History of Thira.

Lignos Folklore Museum: Kontochori
The Folklore Museum is within a cave house built in 1861 in Kontochori, a suburb of Fira capital.

Museum of Minerals and Fossils in Perissa
Founded in 2006 and located in Perissa, close to the Church of the Holy Cross. Display cases include minerals and fossils from Thira, the rest of Greece and abroad.

Wine Museum in Vothonas
The Wine Museum is an extraordinary natural cave, 6 meters below ground and 300 meters long. It presents the history and life of wine from 1660 to 1970.

George E. Argyros Museum: Messaria
The Argyros Mansion is one of the most distinguished recent monuments of the island and occupies an important place within the Messaria community, as it is significant for its morphological and its architectural value.

Art

The stunning views and the unique architectural complex of the island drew the attention of artists and soon Santorini became home to a number of painters, sculptors, ceramists, jewelers, poets, writers, musicians that used the island`s spectacular background as a great source of inspiration to create amazing works of art. A number of art galleries will please your eyes and fulfill your cultural hunger, such as:

AK Art Gallery, the oldest art gallery of the island, located at the center of Fira next to the Cathedral
Crocus, a workshop of painting and religious icon painting in Akrotiri
Krateras, located in the central road of Oia, and hosts exquisite pieces of art

Cherry tomatoes, fava beans, white eggplants, zucchinis, fresh goat cheese and tons of fish and seafood are some of the local products that will please your taste in this small paradise, either traditionally cooked in a small coastal taverna or with a gourmet touch in one of the caldera restaurants run by famous chefs.
